U.S. Geoscience Information Network (USGIN):

a system of state and federal geological survey online data providers and user applications linked together by a collection of shared web services and interchange formats for the purpose of finding, accessing, and using geoscientific information.

	Geospatial Data Services (WMS, WFS, WCS) Geoserver offers OGC compliant geospatial data distribution services as map images (Web Map Service), as vector features (Web Feature Service), and raster data (Web Coverage Service).
